Forward Deployed Engineer – AI DevTool | Series B | $1M+ Enterprise Accounts

We’re working with one of the fastest growing companies in the AI developer tools space – ARR grew 10x last year, backed by top-tier VCs, and already trusted by some of the world’s most recognisable engineering organisations.

This is a founding FDE hire. You won’t be joining an established function – you’ll be defining what it looks like.

The role

You’ll embed directly with strategic enterprise customers, owning the technical arc from first discovery call through to stable production. One day you’re debugging a routing issue deep in the codebase, the next you’re aligning with a CTO on a rollout plan, the next you’re shipping a custom MCP server with a customer’s engineering team.

The work you do in the field directly shapes what the product team builds next.

What they’re looking for

• Experience working as an FDE working within AI (ideally start-up)
• Hands-on experience with LLMs, agent frameworks and MCP servers
• You write and review production-quality Python or TypeScript
• You’ve shipped integrations that started as one-off customer requests and became product features
• You’ve debugged hard problems in live distributed systems under pressure
• Comfortable with enterprise environments – on-prem, air-gapped, heavily regulated – a big plus
